Some Good Movies

Hey guys! If you have any movie suggestions old or new, please make a comment on them. Pick one of your favorite movies. Also just because a movie hasn't won an Oscar doesn't mean that it is not a spectacular movie. For example, Bambi, Beauty and the Beast, and Dumbo were on the New York Time's Best 1000 Movies list. However, much to my amazement, The Lion King was not on there. It is one of my favorite movies of all time and I was appalled that it was not on there. Those New York Times people don't know their movies.

  1. First I would like to say that this is such a cool blog. I have got to agree that the Lion King is an amazing Disney movie, along with Cinderella, one of my favorites. Other movies I love....Finding Neverland, The Illusionist, The Bourn Triliogy, August Rush, the Dark Knight, and basically any horror movie, like Psycho, because the old ones are classics. I will probably think of about 50 more later though. But those movies I can watch a dozen times and never get bored. What about you? What are your favorite movies?

  2. Etucci,
Some of the movies that I love enclude, the Lion King(but you already knew that), His Girl Friday, The Police Academy, Real Genius and many more that I can't remember at the moment but still love. When I was younger I always watched the movie Honey. I believe I liked the movie because I really wanted to become a hip hop dancer(I still do). Not really, but maybe a little;)

  3. I have to agree with Emily, Cinderella and The Dark Knight were two of my favorite movies. One of my favorite movies is The Notebook. I love this movie because it's a great chick flick! Like Emily said about her favorites I can watch this over and over and not get bored with it. It is a classic that I will always love!!!!

  4. I love the movie Casablanca, a real classic - some great lines! I also think Sleeping Beauty is a wonderful movie, beautiful artwork. Pride and Prejudice (the newest version) has breathtaking shots which made it one of my favorites.
I also love Sunshine, Monty Python (so funny!), Lord of the Rings, Meet Me in St. Louis, Singin' in the Rain (probably all old school musicals :)) and Funny Games (not the remake) to name a few.

  5. personally i dont think the dark knight lived up to the hype it was given. no doubt it was a good movie but not a great movie. Ferris Buellers Day Off is an absolutely great movie and one of my all time favorites. West Side Story was stupendous. What more can be said but the Godfather. Ill think of some more but these are the ones i had on the top of my head
